"This is a wonderful day. I’ve never seen this one before.”There's only one today. Instead of:- Dwelling in the past, I choose growth and progression.- Wondering what they want, I ask myself what I want.- Ignoring reality, I choose to accept and transcend.- Jealousy, I choose to clap for others' success.Gratitude - the fertile soil for shining your lights in life’s darkest seasons.Yes, we all have small wins. Every day ask yourself:What are you grateful for?The smallest things count. The sky, the sun, the tree, the shade.- Have you learned from previous painful situations? Be grateful- Is there progress in your life however how small? Be grateful- Are you alive and with a sober mind? Be gratefulGratitude is the foundation from which we send love to a suffering planet. It is the energy that supports compassionate action. This is how we change the world.P.S. What are you grateful for this morning?#linkedinkenya

Job- Searching is Now a Fulltime Job By ItselfAll for a 'Thank you for your application..'As a Gen Z, I'll always follow the easiest procedureAlways work smarter not harder whenever you can!I know how tedious it can be to apply & update resumes. Here are 5 Chrome Extensions that will make work easier:1. Simplify Co pilot: Allows you to autofill job applications directly. It helps you cut down application filling time as well2. Jobalytics - Helps you know how your resume stacks keywords. It helps you go beyond the ATS through keyword ideas andJob - Resume match score to help you incorporate targeted efforts.3. Power Thesaurus: Helps you come up with impactful descriptions. This will help you avoid clichés used in the job market. You can for sure be 'detail-oriented and a team player' BUTThat sounds like the last 10 resumes the recruiter came across. It also helps you to reduce overused words in your resume. It provides synonyms to swap with.Check the remaining ones in the comment sectionP.S. What chrome extensions have you used during your job search that have been really helpful ?

Most times, 'done' is better than 'perfect.'Forget about a perfect match - They merely exist. When going to interviews, I used to obsess over lacking certain qualifications. This was not until I discovered that the best candidates:- Are not the ones that tick every requirement in the JD- Are not always the ones with the most experience - Don't always have the coolest sounding degrees. It's the people who understand these 3 things;1. Job requirements on the Job Description are just a wish list. The truth is if the company found that "perfect" candidate that ticked every single box, they probably wouldn't be able to afford them. 2. If they call you in, they already see potential and are interested. Instead of worrying about weaknesses or gaps compared to their dream candidate, double down on highlighting your personality, core strengths, and relevant skills throughout the conversation. 3. When asked a question and you don't know the answer, be honest. You be asked a fact/ a skill-based question you probably can't solve. The best thing is, to be honest here - don't makeup stories.Showing willingness to learn is better than being confidently wrong.P.S. What points would you add for standing out in interviews without having every single qualification?
